Information The Wagmatcook Culture & Heritage Centre is located on the picturesque Bras d’Or Lakes, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia and is your ideal convention and meeting location. Culturally rich with modern amenities to suit every meeting and event requirements!


If you are travelling by, stop and enjoy our beautiful, sunny restaurant overlooking the waters of the Bras d’Or. Our chef will delight your taste buds with fresh seafood and hearty Cape Breton fare. Browse our gift shop for a selection of authentic Mi’kmaq art and craft, some of the best on the Island. Our hospitality will make it worth the visit! Accessibility Fully Wheelchair Accessible ; During major events there is limited parking on a first come basis. We also have a full service restaurant on site but we do not serve liquor on the premises. We do also provide a security monitoring service on site with 32 cameras for security support.
