Hike Nova Scotia encourages and promotes a growing hiking culture throughout our great province. We strive to be the voice for those who hike, walk and snowshoe. With every step we’re building a community of outdoor adventure enthusiasts.

Hike Nova Scotia formed in 2007 as a registered nonprofit society. It is governed by a Board of Directors with strong regional and special interest representation. We are affiliated with the Nova Scotia Trails Federation and Recreation Nova Scotia. Hike Nova Scotia is grateful to receive regular funding from the Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage.

Hike Nova Scotia's strategic directions are:

COVID-19 Response and updates: Hike NS provides online activities and connections to resources through their Facebook Page and website; including online hiking workshops and webinars.
