Description & Services
Information | This rail trail, located in North Queens, is being developed from Colpton to Caledonia, approximately 18 kms long. It connects with the South Shore Annapolis Valley Trail in Colpton. The volunteers are currently decking and railing bridge structures and repairing the trail surface. This scenic route passes through woodlands, and significant wetlands that are home to the endangered blandings turtle. Permitted uses include walking, cycling, off highway vehicles and horses. This is the only trail of its kind through these communities. Many old abandoned gold mines make leaving this trail hazardous! Please stay on the trail. |
